Yvonne Lee Schultz has found a way to take luxury and violence and mix the two easier than putting sweetener in your lil cup o'tea. Her porcelain gun series make me weep tears of desperation out of how much I want to own these betties. I've been a die hard fan of pretty "grandma..ish" dishes and tea set for as long as I can remember. There are fond memories associated with pouring myself a little cup first because it reminds me of the "princess parties" I would make everyone have with me when I was young, and second because I feel like I have more etiquette than I actually do. Fake it till you make. I love these because she's taken the vintage lover in me and modernized it with the coolness I never knew I wanted. Dear Santa: Pretty please with cherries on top can I have these? I'll promise to make you a cup...all while holding a gun to your head.

For those of you that already know me, know that i have a deep love for crazy pants taxidermy. I think its due to the fact that from a very young age, ive been animal obsessed. Well, pink, glitter, fashion and cute things all obsessed. I thought that i would take a moment and share my FAVORITE artist of all time. Why you ask? Why is this my favorite artist? Ummmmm, yeah, cause it embodies "creepy cute" in a way that i absolutely love and am...shall we say.. unhealthily obsessed with. i say to myself quite often: if i cant live on a damn farm, i'll still own all the animals that would plant all their cute little asses there. I have been wanting to start a blog for some time now. So everyone, here it is..making its big, amazing debut.
